Download the file CODINSTL.EXE to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
Then in Windows Explorer, double-click on the filename.

The System Information Viewer is a simple utility that displays information about your system, including processor type, BIOS manufacturer and version, memory, operating system, and devices installed. The utility allows you to save this information in a text file. You may be asked
by Intel Customer Support to provide this information.

How to Install the System Information Viewer:

Download the SIVPKG.EXE file.
In Windows Explorer*, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file and double-click on it. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the utility.
After installation is complete, the utility will automatically run.

To run the System Information Viewer later:

Go to the \PROGRAM FILES\INTEL\SYSTEM INFORMATION VIEWER directory from Windows Explorer, .
Double-click the SIVIEW.EXE file.

Intel Create&Share Camera Pack 2.0 PCI Video Capture Card Drivers Windows 98.

This file provides the necessary driver files for the Intel® Video Capture Card, which is included with the PCI version of Intel® Create & Share™ Camera Pack. There has only been one version of the drivers for this device. The version of these files is the same version as those that are included on the installation CD-ROM, therefore, if you have your Camera Pack CD-ROM, you do not need to download this file.

Note: The Intel® Video Capture Card has been observed to work with Windows* 98 Second Edition. Since the Intel Video Capture Card was bundled with software designed to with Windows* 98 original edition, Windows 98 Second Edition will not be a supported environment. Therefore, if it does not work, please revert back to Windows 98 original version to use the Intel Video Capture Card.

How to Use this File

Download the file to a temporary directory on your local hard drive.
In Windows Explorer*, browse to the directory where you saved the file and double-click on it.
Click Unzip to extract the files. By default, the directory C:\TEMP\IVCC will be created and the driver files will be extracted into it.
When the Windows* hardware wizard runs, browse to the C:\TEMP\IVCC directory to install these drivers.

Note: If you previously attempted to install the capture card, you may find it listed in Device Manager in the Other category as "PCI Multimedia Device". Select "PCI Multimedia Device", click Remove, then Refresh. The Windows* hardware wizard should redetect the card and allow you to browse to the location of the drivers. (If the hardware wizard does not start, then shut down Windows, turn off your computer, then turn it back on. Now the hardware wizard should begin.)

This software utility starts a Live Update session to update your Intel® Video Phone software to the latest version. It is sometimes necessary to run a Live Update session outside of Intel® Video Phone if you are experiencing problems with opening the Intel® Video Phone software.

This Live Update resolves the following issue:
Error: "VP30 caused an invalid page fault in module at 0000:65646e65" and Intel® Video Phone won't open."

How to Use this Utility

Download and save the file to a temporary directory on your local hard drive.
In Windows Explorer*, browse to the directory where you saved the file, then double-click on it.
The utility will open a Live Update session (outside of the usual method from within the Intel® Video Phone software).
Follow the prompts in the Live Update session to update your Intel® Video Phone software.

Important: Each Live Update session will deliver a single update 'payload'. If there is more than one 'payload' available for your version of Intel® Video Phone, you'll need to run the Live Update session more than once. We recommend that you run Live Update until you get to the latest version of Intel® Video Phone and get the message "Update not required."

This update contains updated camera drivers for both the CS330 and the YC76 camera models. Check for the model number on the label on the bottom of your camera.

DUCS780.EXE is a self-extracting executable that includes the files and instructions necessary to use the Intel® Pocket Digital Download Utility

1. Click DUCS780.EXE to download to a temporary location on your computer.

2. Remember this location for use in Step 4.

3. Click Start > Run.

4. Click Browse, go to the download location from Step 1, Double-click DUCS780.EXE, and begin the install. (The files will be installed to the following directory: C:\program files\intel\ducs\ by default.)
