This self-extracting archive file contains all installation and driver software for Windows* 95/98/NT* 4.0 and Windows 2000.

NOTICE: HOT FIX version 2.05A, has been posted for this driver set. If you are installing your Xircom card under Windows NT* for the first time, it is recommended that you download the XE205A-2 HOT FIX UPDATE instead of this file. The HOT FIX driver set contains installation improvements for the scanning of resources under Windows NT. It also contains all installation and driver software required with the products for use with Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000.

If you are just updating your existing driver, please download this file (XE205-2.EXE).

Please reference the readme.txt file for more information on this release. The drivers in this release are digitally signed and certified by the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab for Windows 98 and Windows 2000. If you are using a pre-released version of Windows 2000, a message may appear upon installation stating this device is not certified for Windows 2000. Microsoft has advised the message will not appear in the released version of Windows 2000.
